Faster Horses, a marketing insights consulting firm is pleased to announce the addition of a Canberra office to its geographic spread across Australia. Canberra increases the company’s presence to 3 states which also include New South Wales and Western Australia.
In a major coup for the agency, James Wunsch, who joins the firm as Director of Social & Government research, will run the Canberra arm of the business…James’ career spans both the buyer and supplier sides of social & government research, facilitating a deep understanding of the role research or evaluation plays in driving effective policy, service, program & communication outcomes. This wealth of practical experience is supplemented by superior commercial and political nous, which ensures insights are consistently delivered in appropriate context. He joins the firm from his most recent role as General Manager of Colmar Brunton’s Canberra office.
Faster Horses MD based in Sydney, Peter Fairbrother says “We are very excited to have Wunsch on board as he brings 20 years of experience in government consulting to the business. His insights and maturity in this space are unsurpassed”. Wunsch adds that being involved in a more modern insights agency gives him more opportunity to introduce creative solutions and methodologies to government clients, to improve speed to market and depth of insight.
“I’m excited to be joining a firm that has a genuine commitment to innovation and leveraging best-in-field technology to yield actionable insights in the most efficient manner possible. Our clients are increasingly seeking robust & evidence-based advice in a time-constrained context, while our research & evaluation participants are increasingly time-poor themselves. Faster Horses is clearly attuned to these trends and has shaped its research & evaluation approaches to align with these new realities. I’m sure government and social clients will appreciate this key point of difference” Wunsch says.
This move adds to the exciting growth plans of the agency, whose purpose it is to bring human insights to the markets in which it consults. Perth based MD, Veronica Mayne says “Our firm will always bring humanity to the boardroom table – consulting with people for their views in unobtrusive, friendly and respectful ways. We believe strongly in short, succinct surveys that protect the integrity of the data, as well as respects the time and efforts of respondents”.
Faster Horses has numerous new initiatives in play including a partnership with Customer Experience group, Komo, to bring true gamification to the methodology mix; a partnership with TrueReply to make inroads into voice technology space; and building technology to bring together numerous marcomms data sources for more powerful marketing performance analytics.
